Repeater Access Information

Culpeper Amateur Radio Association (CARA) owns, maintains, and operates four amateur and GMRS FM repeaters located on Gibson Mountain, in Gordonsville, VA. They are open to all licensed operators. The 1.25m repeater operates in FM mode only. The 2 meter, and 70 centimeter repeaters are capable of P25 mode operation, and the 70 centimeter repeater adds System Fusion (C4FM). CARA repeaters may be accessed as follows:

• W4CUL – 2m – 147.120 Mhz / +600Khz, PL(146.2), P25 / EchoLink
• W4CUL – 1.25m – 224.180Mhz / -1.6Mhz, PL(146.2)
• W4CUL – 70cm – 443.8 Mhz / +5Mhz, PL(146.2), Fusion / P25 / FM
• GMRS – 462.6750 Mhz / +5Mhz, PL(123.0)
